Dear Membership,
The ASPE 2013 Conference in Atlanta, GA is practically upon us. As you prepare your agenda keep this edition of ASPE News handy to help inform your choices regarding the many presentations, workshops and activities the conference has to offer. We have outlined a few of the Masters Series workshops and other presentations in Conference Highlights but you may read the entire program at : http://aspeducators.org/2013-annual-conference.php
Tip: Want to read this issue on the plane as you travel to the conference and prefer to print it? Find PrintIt in the “sharing buttons” at the bottom of each post to get a print-friendly page.
In addition to the wide variety of programming, make sure to include in your schedule the opening plenary speaker, Rachel H. Ellaway, as she starts the conference off with a discussion of Economies of Presence and Standardized Patient Education on Sunday, June 23rd at 2:45pm.
On Monday June 24th, we will begin the day with long standing ASPE leader Jan-Joost Rethans (ASPE’s first invited Howard S. Barrows presenter) as he engages us in his plenary session, Building Bridges: Do ASPE Members Want to Go International? Soon after, we will break out into rooms throughout the beautiful Grand Hyatt for an active week of learning and networking.
So pack light, leaving plenty of room in your bag for all of the information, business cards, souvenirs (!) and handouts that you will gather. See you in Atlanta !
