ASPE News March/April 2014

Dear ASPE Membership,

We , the Publications Committee, are excited to bring you the Spring edition of ASPE News. This edition begins with a letter from our incoming ASPE President , Karen Lewis, who shares some ideas with ASPE readers regarding what we can do personally  to “garner more recognition for the established SP methodology”  despite the  relatively small size and specialized nature of the field of educators that we represent.

To assist with your agenda planning  for the ASPE 2014 Conference in Indianapolis,  Indiana , June 21st – June 25th ,  the  Conference Preview can help you  to identify events, workshops  and offerings that will appeal to any ASPE attendee and be sure to send you away from the conference  a more informed and invigorated SP Educator. This year’s conference has internationally acclaimed plenary  speakers Walter Eppich, MD, Med , and Debra Nestel PhD, CHSE in addition to a wide array of  invited presenters, so book your flights now!

Take a moment to read about the steady progress made on the ASPE Website renovation project  ( aspeducators.org )  in committee chair,  Angela Blood’s,  Website and Social Media Update.

We look forward to networking with you in June !
