One of the tasks on the list of the publications committee has been to track annual meetings held by other medical education organizations and associations familiar to ASPE members. With the rapid proliferation of medical education and simulation-related organizations an accurate conference calendar is challenging to update.
AMEE‘s site, “Med Ed World”, has a huge repository of information regarding medical education-related conferences. This list is more comprehensive that our current conference calendar and can also provide a variety of quality information relevant to ASPE members.
Many of these organizations are official ASPE affiliates; others have not yet been solidified as affiliates. In the near future ASPE News will post an update on the official list of affiliated organizations to better inform our members.
