As an Education Coordinator (Physicianship) you’ll oversee the successful implementation, maintenance, continuous improvement and evaluation of the Physicianship Program. You will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and act in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. In addition to providing administrative support, the coordinator is responsible for the management and execution of all elements of the program. This includes the implementation of curriculum elements including objectives, educational methods and assessments while also communicating with faculty, staff and students regarding program status. You’ll manage course materials through various systems like Blackboard, Dropbox, and SharePoint. You’ll help promote a positive and productive environment by encouraging teamwork and communication while demonstrating a collaborative and innovative attitude toward the program. You will author agendas, action items and other materials to support the Physicianship faculty’s weekly meetings and the Physicianship Work Group’s monthly meetings, as well as any ad hoc meetings. Your position requires assisting in operations support and execution of special events, including those outside the program (e.g., graduation, awards ceremonies, recruitment days).

Requirements: You must have a High School Diploma or GED (a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred), as well as 2 years of professional work experience. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional. You need to have flexibility to work some evening and weekend hours, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous work experience in a higher education/medical education setting and previous database management experience are preferred.
